James reached
38 weeks AGA today. Two weeks from being born if he hadn't been in
such a hurry to see what this Whole Wide World was about. We have
been home for what, two weeks now? No that isn't quite right. A
week? Ah right, 3 days now. Wow. Seems like he has been home for
quite some time. It seems as if the NICU is fading in my memory
already.

When James
was born and whisked off to the NICU I never got a chance to say
hello. It was hours until I even saw him. It was over a week before
I was able to touch him for the first time. Twice a day, every day,
I would go and stand near him and just talk. Tell stories to him
about his mommy and daddy and how much we missed him...

Wow, being a
dad just got even better. Today James finally got to come home from
the NICU. Of course getting out the door proved to be tiring and
