It is really nice watching James learn to learn to talk. You know, just figuring out that the tongue and the mouth and all the bits connected seem to have more importance than just eating with. I didn't realize how much fun this was going to be to see firsthand. It has been awhile since I sat to write. No reason really. Well, nothing that can be pointed at and blame set at the feet of. It is just that parenting is a full time job, especially when learning as you go. Nothing that can't be handled, it just takes time and effort. Lots and lots of effort. So let me dust off the keyboard and get out the camera. It is time to play catch up.

We started our day out normally. Some good natured yelling from James to come get him out of bed after a pretty good night sleep. The usual coffee for me and some stories to James about how his milk really isn't ready until the thing on the stove says so. He kept pointing out the fact that the light was off and the coffee maker had nothing to do with his breakfast.
